About
The Robbins Invitational began back in 2001 when, after an MimeCom company golf outing in 2000, Sandy Thielamy became infatuated with the game.
To honor his birthday the next year, along and that of my son Jonathan, we decided to get together with current and former work colleagues to enjoy a day of golf and celebrate August birthdays. This expanded a tradition Jon and I had on his birthday since about 1996.
We have done this annually with the larger group since the 2001 outing.
