We began our trip with an overnight at the Tokyo Imperial Hotel |

| Across the street was the imperial garden, a rich
blend of architecture and greenery |

| There was also an outdoor theater |

| With a pretty flower garden in front |

| What a neat contrast between the old post office
building (1800's) and the modern skyline |

| The gardens were not in bloom, but must be
beautifull in the spring and summer. |
