There wasn’t anything particularly special about this birthday for Sara - except that she is always special to me.

So, we started out with a great get together at home with kids and Sara’s mom. (we really missed Joey and Vanessa!!).

As luck would have it, we were able to make it quite special. We were fortunate enough to be able to borrow a 3 bedroom cottage in Calistoga, CA - right in the heart of Napa wine country! Mike Davis, the proprietor of the recently acquired Windmill Valley/Davis Estates, ended up with a home on the vineyard that he uses for occasional get togethers and for guests. He was gracious enough to allow Sara & I to use the house for Sara’s birthday weekend.

We also met and were taken care of by Holly - the on site property manager. She made sure we had all we needed and was great company too!.
